So out of curiosity, because I didn't participate in the first forum:

What's the difference between the free forum and the not-free one you had before?
 
You’re gonna have to ask Moy on that one for something more specific but I do remember she made some XenForo plugins back then and would implement them in the old forums to show them off.

Not sure if this is also the case here.

also iirc she needed to pay for a server to host the old fourm, but shes already using a server thats hosting this one for something else shes doing so she can just use 1 cage for 2 birds

If I recall, there actually never was an extra cost for either because in both cases, she used a server that was already being paid for and used for something else.

The old ones were on a server of something she did with friends so once that shut down, so did the old forums. These new forums instead are on a personal server that already fills a different purpose so she gets free reign on how long they last.
