or at least i remember pikmin not oxenfree

I maintain that the Discord and forums have no reason to supplant the other. They can work in beautiful tandem. One is for fun, more informal chatting, a main hub, on-the-go posting, and one is for more focused and organized discussion, larger projects, things like Mafia or Gaming Book Club or Moveset Posts. And it's very easy to just grab a link from a moveset or whatever you've posted here and slap it in the Discord! A good time can be had by all.

The Forum Alerts bot should probably not be reposting every single damn post though. lol
 
If we were to do another Video Game Book Club how should we handle choosing the game everyone plays?

How was Pikmin and Oxenfree handled as choices, was it just brought up by the host of the event or was it nominated?

I think the forum alert bot should probably only notify of new thread creation.

currently I have it muted as I find seeing every post is unnecessary
 
believe it was brought up by people as options adn voted on and pikmin won

i wasn't paying attention when oxenfree happened but i imagine its much the same process or it was second place, i do think it was like right behind pikmin

thankfully I can reduce this, so it should be only for new threads now

Wasn't sure if one or the other would lead to getting more traction here, but I can see how it would be a nuisance for some people; think there is a way to get alerts from here as discord notifications anyway if that's what someone wants.
