We're so fucking back

- Ben Mendelson's Krennic is amazing as ever
- The whole secret meeting about how to handle Ghorman is perfectly evil, discussing the final solution type shit
- The Dedra/Syril/Eedy dinner scene is amazingly awkward, the vibes are vile and I love it
- Cassian's bit with the rebels was a very good take on how badly distrust and a lack of structure can doom a rebellion before they can even do anything, also hey we know that planet!
- The wedding stuff with Mon Mothma was great seeing her constantly get worn down by her shitty husband, their culture being fucked up, Tay being an unreliable git, Luthen's pressure and having her daughter say "I wish you were drunk" right to her face to the point she actually does get drunk and dances like crazy whilst shit is going down elsewhere
- Everything with Brasso and Bix was excellent, fuck the snitch ass motherfucker and especially fuck that imperial lieutenant. Genuinely shocked we actually got a Disney Star Wars thing where they explicitly have an attempted rape and have it get called as such in the show.

- Fucking goofy failure rebel kids messing everything up, their immaturity got themselves into a firefight amongst themselves and then they try to settle it with Space Rock-Paper-Scissors.
- KRENIC! I know in the future that the Ghorman stuff is when Mon Mothma goes public rebel, so we will see more soon. Also Deedra suggesting Agent Provocateurs is depressingly realistic.
- MALEWIFE SYRIL! I was practically screaming at every Syril scene, the scenes with him, Deedra and his mother. THE HARDCUT OF HIM FACEDOWN IN HIS BED LMAO.
- god Bix god its hard to watch her go through more pain, and I am so sad Brasso died, he legit became one of my favorite characters in season 1 he was such a good man.
- I think on some level that Mon Mothma is losing her shit here, like yeah she was covertly supporting rebellion efforts before but I think the sacrifices she's made are making it harder and harder to keep the mask on. I can see her going very public with her support much to the dismay of Luthen. Also the scene where she tries to cheer up her daughter when the groom is acting like an immature child (because that what he literally is) and when she give her another chance to not have to do this was heartbreaking.

I dont think that farmer guy was actually a snitch, he was only found because he had to go look for Wilmon. I believe Brasso was giving him cover so he wouldnt get punished by the empire for harboring them, Notice them both exchange a slow nod after he said that.

Brasso was a bro till the very end...

i cant get over the scene with Mon mothma and leida just before the ceremony.

It's the one time mothma actually tries to support her. even if it would endanger mon and the money coming in.

but it's not at all what her daugher wants to hear. she is about to get married. she probably wants to be praised, not told "you can just not do it" and leida snaps back

it's heartbreaking for BOTH of them.

Poor Leida, It must be all so confusing for her. Like on some level she’s resentful of her Mom’s distance from working as a senator and how that is all tied up with her idealization of Chandrillan traditional life, but then she sets you up in an arranged marriage despite openly hating her own arranged marriage while obviously being disapproving of this arranged marriage that she just set up.

“I wish you were drunk” was very mean, but I totally got where she was coming from here as from her perspective Mon’s actions would make more sense to her if she was drunk.

All this tied into that ultimately Leida is a child who doesn’t really know what she’s getting into, really tragic. I think Mon knew it really couldn't have been any other way at that point as it was the last second, but she had to offer it just to give herself the peace of mind.

Another brilliant set of episodes

All of the set up for Ghorman is amazing and Mon chasing after votes feels all too real.
Saw is always fun to see on screen and hey look that's another future Rebel/Resistance base.
I like the parallels with the Ghorman Front being very French Resistance coded down to the accents and costumes, really adds a great deal there and I believe they made the old legends Ghorman massacre into a separate incident in the canon.
The climax of this arc was so tense I'm still sweating but fuck that was great.
Bail ain't the same without Jimmy Smitts but Benjamin Bratt is fine for the bit we see.
YAY GIRLS KISSING! into Doomed Yuri true combo.

My only real complaint was that someone dropped a major untagged spoiler on bluseky, and it kind of ruined a lot of the tension of episode 6.

Oh well. The rest was excellent.

when andor season 1 finished. I said "wow. that was amazing. some of the best TV i've ever seen. But there is no way they replicate this. Season 2 is gonna suck or something."
