As of June 2nd 2025, well-known marsupial member of the EXP community, Opossum J. Experiencepoint, has mysteriously gone missing.

Given the timing of his disappearance, it is speculated that the reason behind this may be related to the biannual Emote Purge, which last occurred on May 28th. This one felt particularly bloody this time as Article 4.20 of the Purge Declaration™, established in June 1st, 2023, led to 15 of the 30 killed emotes being ones who were supposed to have been voted for safety. While Article 7 did allow for one of the slain to be brought back to life with the seven Dragon Balls, having been used to bring back Smiledea, it does not undo completely undo the deaths of many beloved emotes.
Could he be hiding from society to hide from any enraged member of the community? Perhaps one of them had already gotten to him just like the previous Purge? How did he even manage to come back to life after the last Purge anyway? This reporter can only speculate as he despairs over the death of FalconLul.
When approached for their opinions on the matter, EXP administrators Moy and Hinata had this to say:
But what are your thoughts on those executed in the latest Purge? And what are your theories on why Opossum vanished? I'd like to hear your thoughts on it.
