Kinda expected the fight would go this route

PEW PEW ALMIGHTY, I actually liked that they dipped their toes into the expanded SMT verse, it was the only way Joker could get the W over Giorno.
 
The animation was fucking amazing, top 10, maybe 5 fights for that alone

The research really drags it down though

They did Eggman pretty dirty ngl and that was expected considering the main researcher here is infamous for hating Sonic's high end stuff
At least they put the Sonic universe up pretty high but they still massively undersold it to get Bowser a win when Sage's analysis/simulation hax + Metal is an insta wincon.

Next time is boring af lmao

yeah this is one of the best animations they've done ever, IMO

yeah idk enough about sonic but it feels like they argued this poorly. Almost seems like they were saying "Bowser wins because of the power of friendship"

but also . .idgaf about their logic usually lmao, im just here for fun lore background stuff and Cool Fights

yeah I don't generally care about the logic unless it's like, blatantly leaving out key stuff for no good reason (Megatron would beat Frieza if they included JP G1 which is closer to the main canon than some stuff they actually used), saying stuff that's outright contradicted (Guts v Dimitri as a whole lmao) or it's some wack shit like Sub-Zero outspeeding Glacius because "Ninja Reflexes" or Omni-Man's sun disk thing.

I get wanting to fit this under half an hour because there's genuinely too much going on here but the arguments were extremely poorly made if not outright wrong in several instances and I am exceptionally annoying about people doing that lol
 
Honestly, just the concept of an army fight being revisited is cool enough on its own right.

Also, popped off at the Elite Trio and Broggy. Great cameos.

Can I bring special attention to the freaking music?


Getting Victor "Bury the Light" Borba along for the ride is so insane. The animation was already amazing enough as is but it's not enough, they had to make peak for the song in the background.
 

That's out the way I guess, was a fun animation but yeah.

Kratos v Asura next tho.

So next battle being Asura VS Kratos is one of those fights I always feel skeevy about

one character is from one single game. (or at least i assume they arent pulling from the mythological figure lol)

The other has a series over years and years. So much to pull from for Bullshit ™️

The second they started comparing to creation of the universe or whatever in the previews the other week, I knew this shit was over lmao.
also weirdly. . .clunky animations. Was surprised how it looked. RIP

also wow that "alternate ending" seems . .really underwhelming. Like they clearly made a whole different area for that scene but it's just . . Punch that i don't think even looked good
