Next Super Smash Bros General Speculation Thread

I brought up earlier in this thread how I wished Modern Kirby would get more recognition, and to go back to that, a stage from a modern kirby game would be nice. I'd say a stage from Forgotten Land (the Waddle Dee Town I guess?), but we could get a new Kirby game before a new Smash game, so...who knows.

If for whatever reason they never decide to bring back Rainbow Road to Smash, I can think of another Mario Kart track that could make for a cool Smash stage:

Look, I'm just saying...Jamboree literally gave Waluigi "Waluigi's Pinball Arcade" as his minigame challenge. They know how iconic the track is and how it's become associated with him. I definitely think there's a good chance that it'll make it as a stage if Waluigi gets in.

Like Boxing Ring in Smash 4, if you hold L+R when loading Waluigi Pinball you'll get the Space Cadet 3D version instead

Been thinking how . .yeah. I really want Sol Badguy. I think he would be super easy to translate to smash, but alos really easy to make unqie and fun and all that.

. . I'm *also* thinking about how even though Sol is the obvious, correct, and "deserving" choice. . .I still want another GG character slightly more.

To prevent this from just being List of Opossum's Favorite Pokémon and Fire Emblem Characters, I'll give a different example lol.

I love Sans, and I definitely think he SHOULD be the first Undertale character in. But also...Papyrus, Undyne, or Mettaton getting before him would absolutely be fine by me because I love them lol.

Dolphin Park from Wave Race. One section of Wuhu doesn't do it for me. I want my beach, buoys, and dolphins!

Kimberly and Rashid should be added even though we'd realistically get a laundry list of other SF characters before them.

In the same vein, I'd want Dizzy to be the Guilty Gear rep. And if we get a Granblue character, I'd want Narmaya, but it would probably be Gran, Katalina, or Djeeta..

I find it frustrating knowing that it's extremely unlikely Smash would ever represent a 3rd party guest series with a side character. Like the Terry reveal was essentially them going down the list and saying "SNK has many amazing characters! However, it was never not gonna be The Guy." It ultimately feels pointless to talk about as a result.

However, in the infinitesimally small chance Sakurai decides he wants Soulcalibur, I hope he'll make an exception and not pick Nightmare, Mitsurugi, Sophitia, or Taki. Because...

I'd definitely like to see a stage. As long as it's not Pipe-Rock Plateau, as I don't want Yet Another Mario Grassland Stage.

My pick is the second world, Fluff-Puff Peaks, since it's a neat combination of "snow level" and "sky level". But any of the other worlds would be cool as well.

Wonder didn't really introduce any new playable characters. Prince Florian is just the badges you can make any playable character wear, so the "main" new named character wouldn't really work as a newcomer in Smash or anything. But since Nabbit is playable, I'd like to see them graduate from stage hazard to newcomer if the Smash team felt inclined.

Aside from the Piranha Plant song, Wonder has lots of great original music, so I hope to hear the songs given cool Smash remixes, though ports would be fine too.

I like Meowscarada well enough but there are definitely a lot of other Gen IX Pokémon that I'd greatly prefer.

I'd love Meowscarada but they have to go as hard on their magician motif the same way Sakurai went hard on Incineroar's wrestler motif. Gen 9 has so many cool picks so I'd be fine if they went with someone else though.
