The Experience Point Social Thread

I didn't trick or treat much in my life because Halloween also happened to be my stepdad's birthday and he often took priority. Also, affording a costume was often a tall order during my childhood because money was tight, which made trick or treating even less of a possibility.

I do remember having a Pikachu costume when I was like 5 though.

By now, I'm just used to being the complete bummer on Halloween events because I was just never raised under the context of being "obligated" to dress up on October 31st.

what all Halloween costumes have you worn throughout your life?

Off the top of my head I've been spider-man, a pirate, mario (x2), Batman, air force pilot, Captain America, TF2 Engineer, Beetlejuice, Batman Scarecrow, and the Invisible Man.
I haven't done costumes in a while. Age order from everything I can remember:
Thomas the Tank Engine (Pre-K)
I don't remember my kindergarten costume tbh
Batman (1st grade)
Superman (2nd grade)
Spider-Man (symbiote suit) this was right after Spider-Man 3 came out (3rd grade)
Indiana Jones (4th grade)
Ghostface (honestly I didn't like going as a horror character just wanted to appear older and mature and realized wearing it that that's dumb) :V (5th grade)
DIY Pokemon Trainer costume (Freshman)
Carl Grimes (the walking dead) I grew my hair out and looked like him it worked really well (sophomore)
Dr. Alan Grant (I was getting all the mileage out of my Indiana Jones hat.) (junior)
Han Solo (senior year)

i liked to make up as a zombie later on my years but as a kid my mom mostly made our costumes from various interests and such

was good stuff

Finished AA6 yesterday

got questions for the AA gamers but didn't feel like trying to pose this in the discord
so like . .where does the series even go from here. I know people are REALLY desperate for AA7 these days, but honestly i think im good where 6 ends. Nick's is in a good spot. Maya is leading her village now. Apollo starting his own law office to follow in his foster dad's footsteps. Really only Athena feels like she has anywhere to go still being a novice.

But like . .I really can't imagine we get Athena Cykes: Ace Attorney. Or AJAA2. I just cant imagine them ever not doing a Nick game that isnt a complete spinoff like GAA.

.. . but i feel like either a whole new cast or EXPLICITLY focusing on Athena only or AJ only is like . .the place to go

IDK im content with AA ending there
and now everyone is feel to call me crazy

Athena Cykes: Ace Attorney is exactly where this series needs to go. Not for any story reasons, but just because Athena deserves more time in the spotlight than she's gotten. She's been in 2 games and has been playable in 2 cases so far, one of which was half of a case.

But honestly, I think that AJ:AA2 would work. Khura'in is basically starting its legal system over from scratch, there could be a lot of potential in showing how Apollo and Nahyuta are building it up.

And even if Nick's in a good spot, that doesn't mean he stops being a lawyer. They could still have him do a case or two that are relatively inconsequential to whatever overarching plot there is. Or maybe they'll find some new way to give him a plotline to follow. I'm sure they could make up a new relative for him like they keep doing for Apollo. :mayaplush:

From 6 years old to maybe 10 or 11ish, I was a Ninja for Halloween:ninja:

Wanted to be a Samurai for a change, but we couldn't find costumes for that

AA6 felt like them going "we dont know what to do with athena anymore"
she's barely in the game, she's still a novice, and her ONE case is kind of a mess with no investigation, and Blackquill has to kind of drag her to the finish line

Personally im a huge AJ fan so i would 100% take AJ2 but i am VERY cynical and think they will never do an AJ2 or an AC1. It's all about that marketable protag Nick. He shoulda stayed as hobo nick, you cowards

I think we, as a society, need to make halloween the next christmas.

Christmas has been encroaching backwards and backwards every year. Saw Christmas stuff out in stores in september. I think we need to make halloween the same way.

I need to start seeing skeletons in JULY. Halloween is COOL and i miss it already.
